Spring Rain, by Erté

Salazar picked this week's inspiration, Spring Rain, which is actually (from what I've found online, anyway) a reproduction of a costume design by the artist. If Erté's style looks familiar, it might be because he illustrated and designed 200 covers for Harper's Bazaar in the early 1900s, as well as a lot of costume design for the theatre and for film. He was one of the most popular artists of the Art Deco period, which is evident in a lot of his artwork.
So! Now that I've told you what little I know, it's your turn to interpret the art! Email your designs to Salazar by April 21st to be included. Jen pointed out that this is good inspiration for some pattern mixing, so let's see it!
